Text description provided by the architects. The project covers an area of 2 hectares, located in the South Saigon New Urban Area. The goal is to design an educational complex from kindergarten to high school, including personal development facilities such as a performance center and a swimming school. The architectural features of the school express a modern and liberal atmosphere, standing out as a highlight on the larger land.
The complex includes three main functional areas: classroom openings are arranged mainly along the North-South axis; the common area (canteen, library, multi-purpose gymnasium) is arranged right in the center to ensure direct access from all directions; and semi-detached administrative area. The corridor system connects all functional areas to form a unified block. Between these areas are playgrounds, sports fields, green areas. The main entrance is highlighted by a large concave corridor, which curves back to form an open and welcoming square.
The design also considers the external flow of natural elements, human movement and traffic. The facade is created by blocks, interwoven along vertical and horizontal lines. Vertical sunshades are arranged on the longer sides of the building to control the amount of solar radiation. Internal circulation is also carefully calculated, each route is dedicated to a specific user to avoid congestion. Three entrances direct one-way traffic: One lane is for private cars to pick up students, the rest is for buses and the theater block – swimming school.
